Life shouldn’t just be about mindlessly working through the years only to face uncertainty. There has to be more to it, and there is. We are here to build the lives we desire, with all the resources we need at our disposal. How we build depends on our wisdom or ignorance, how well we understand the principles that guide us, and how we choose to apply those principles in our everyday lives.


In this post, we’ll explore how to manifest our dreams by first changing our mindset and perspective. Success isn't about working harder, but about changing the way we think.


When people learn that the way to live and create the life they dream of is governed by precise, universal laws, they often fear that living by these laws will be difficult. They worry that following these principles will disrupt their current habits or way of life. But these same people understand that laws governing society—like rules for social behavior and safety—must be followed for everything to function smoothly. They recognize that the laws that protect society are essential for peace and prosperity.


The same is true for divine law. The more exact the law, the greater the benefit for those who follow it. Think of it this way: in mathematics, the laws are strict and unchanging. An accountant may struggle to solve a problem, but they know the solution lies in applying those exact laws correctly. If the rules of mathematics could change, solving problems would be impossible. Similarly, the principles that govern our lives, when followed faithfully, offer a clear path to happiness, prosperity, and fulfillment.


Understand Your Mental State




If you want to manifest your dream life, there are two essential things you need to understand—and they're not complicated at all. In fact, you don’t need any special degree to grasp this. The two things are simple: first, you need to know where you are right now, and second, you need to know where you're going. Once you have that, you can take action.


It’s so basic, it seems obvious, so why are so many people stuck? The answer, more often than not, is that they don’t have a clear goal. While most people may have some idea of what they want, the problem isn’t usually the desire itself. It’s that many people aren’t clear about where they’re starting from—especially mentally.


Physically, most people know exactly where they are, but when it comes to their mindset—understanding their thoughts, beliefs, and subconscious patterns—many are completely unaware. They don’t realize what’s driving them to make decisions or take actions that don’t align with what they actually want. 


Imagine this: if you were dropped somewhere in North America with no sense of direction, no compass, and no landmarks, and your goal was to get to Los Angeles, you could end up heading in the wrong direction entirely. You might start walking toward Boston, thinking you’re on the right path, simply because you don't know where you are right now. 


The same principle applies to your mindset. You need to understand where you are mentally—your current beliefs, habits, and thought patterns—before you can move forward toward your goals. Without this clarity, you’ll never get the results you want, no matter how clear your goals may seem. It’s about being honest with yourself about your starting point.

Change Your Paradigm




Your paradigm is the key problem, and it’s really at the root of what’s holding you back. The truth is, it’s not that we don’t know what to do—it’s that we often don’t do what we already know we should. The real issue lies in our paradigm. It’s essential to understand that no matter how hard you work or how many hours you put in, if your paradigm doesn’t change, nothing else will. Things will stay the same from one year to the next, no matter how much effort you put in. This is crucial to grasp—working harder is not the answer. In fact, many people actually achieve more by working less because they’ve changed their mindset and approach.


So, what exactly is a paradigm? Simply put, it’s a collection of habits, and habits are just ideas that become fixed in our subconscious mind. When an idea is repeated enough, it becomes ingrained in our subconscious. Over time, these ideas turn into automatic habits—things we do without even thinking about it. For example, getting dressed in the morning is a habit. You don’t consciously think about which foot to put in your pants first; it’s something you do automatically.


The Subconscious Mind


The subconscious mind plays a powerful role in shaping our thoughts, emotions, and actions, often without us being aware of it. It's like the part of our mind that runs in the background, influencing our behaviors—like why we might feel shy, lazy, or struggle with overeating.


How Our Paradigm Was Formed


When we were born, we had genetic programming, but we couldn’t think for ourselves yet. Our ability to make conscious choices wasn’t developed, and during this time, our self-image began to form. We absorbed everything around us, including the beliefs and values of those who raised us. Our subconscious mind was wide open, taking in everything from our environment, shaping the way we saw the world.


As we grew older, we developed the ability to think consciously and make our own decisions. But by then, our self-image—or paradigm—was already well-established. We started gravitating toward ideas, beliefs, and behaviors that matched this established self-image. We began adopting the preferences, language, and mindset of the people around us. In a sense, we began to think like the people we were surrounded by, which shaped how we saw ourselves and the world.


To truly change your life, you need to change your paradigm—the deep-seated beliefs and habits that shape your reality. Until you do that, nothing will change, no matter how hard you work.

To begin, it's important to recognize that you need a clear goal—one that truly excites and inspires you. This goal should come from your desires, not just your needs. While it’s good to appreciate what you’ve achieved, it's equally important to feel a sense of dissatisfaction. This feeling of dissatisfaction isn’t negative; it’s what drives you to grow and reach for something better. 


Some people believe we should be content with where we are, especially when we consider how far society has come compared to centuries ago. Technologically, we've made incredible strides. But it’s important to remember that our ancestors didn’t settle—they were constantly working to improve their lives. Their desire for progress is what led to the advancements we now enjoy. The world was good for them, but they knew it was far from perfect. Just like them, we should continue pushing for progress. 


Believing that we should be completely satisfied with our current progress limits us. Having aspirations for a better life is what gives us meaning and purpose. Without that drive, we risk stagnation. No one has ever made real progress by settling for "good enough." We should definitely find joy in where we are, but we should also want more, strive for more. If we were all content with our current state, there would be no growth at all. Those who don't desire to improve, to be more, are like dead weight on society—holding back progress in every area. 


Think about it: If everyone were content with staying exactly where they are, society would stop evolving. Just as animals evolve by developing new abilities to meet the demands of their environment, we evolve by pushing ourselves to new heights—mentally, physically, and socially. Evolution happens when life overflows its current boundaries and strives for something greater. If we want to grow, we must continually ask ourselves: What more can we do? What more can we become? Growth is the fundamental force that drives not just individual lives, but the world itself.


Think in Line with Your Desires




The progress we make in life is largely determined by our mindset, because our mind governs everything we do. The first step toward achieving your dreams is to create a clear, vivid picture of what you truly want. You can't send a message to your subconscious mind unless you first have a clear idea of what you want to achieve. Many people fail to realize their dreams because they have only a vague idea of their goals. 


For example, it's not enough to simply wish for wealth "to do good with." That's a common desire, but it’s not specific enough to drive you. Similarly, wanting to travel or live a fuller life is a general desire many people share, but it’s not enough to make those things happen. Think about it like sending a wireless message—you wouldn’t send random letters or words and expect the message to be understood. You would send a clear, meaningful sentence.


In the same way, when you’re trying to impress your desires on your subconscious mind, it must be done with clarity and focus. You need to know exactly what you want and be specific. You can’t expect to achieve your goals with vague wishes and unformed desires. Take time to really think about what you want, and create a clear mental picture of it—imagine it in detail, as if you already have it. This mental image should be something you hold in your mind constantly, just like a sailor keeps their eyes on the compass while navigating.


The key is to want your goals deeply enough that they stay in your thoughts. If you truly desire something, you won’t need to force your mind to focus on it—it will naturally stay with you. But if you’re not deeply committed to your dream life, it may be difficult to stay focused on it. The methods I’m sharing are for those whose desire is strong enough to push through any mental resistance and laziness. 


The clearer and more specific your mental picture is, the stronger your desire will become. The more you focus on it, the easier it will be to keep your mind aligned with that goal. 


The power of thought lies in forming a clear mental image of what you want, holding on to your purpose, and believing with gratitude that you will achieve it. Life can seem like a mystery if you don’t understand it, but it becomes simple once you have the key. The mystery fades when we understand the process of growth and development. We are meant to grow, and our journey is one of constant progress. This progress is driven by how we use our mental powers. 


The state of mind you choose to hold will guide your actions and decisions, shaping your experiences. If your mindset is optimistic, broad-minded, and positive, you’ll move in a constructive and progressive direction. But if your mindset is negative or focused on limitations, your energy will be misdirected, and it will be much harder to achieve what you want. Your ruling mental state is the most powerful factor in determining the course of your life, so it’s essential to keep your thoughts and attitudes aligned with the life you want to create.

Take Inspired Action


It’s true that constantly thinking about your desires helps attract them to you, but it’s not enough to just think about what you want. You must also take action. Many people, even those with a good understanding of how things work, struggle because they fail to connect their thoughts with the necessary actions. We haven’t yet reached a point where we can create things directly from thought alone, without using nature’s processes or the work of human hands. So, it’s essential to not just think about what you want, but also to take action that supports and complements those thoughts.


Your actions must align with your desires so that when opportunities or resources come your way, you’re ready to receive them. You don’t want to take from others unfairly, nor should you just expect things to come to you without effort. Instead, you must give more value than you receive—whether that’s through your work, your energy, or your service. 


When you take action in the right way, you’ll be able to properly receive what is rightfully yours. For example, when something you want comes to you, it will likely come through others, and they will expect something in return. You can only receive what’s yours by offering an equivalent exchange. Transforming your life into your dream life won’t happen without effort on your part.


This is where the science of getting rich becomes crucial: the combination of thought and action. Many people set their desires in motion through their thoughts, but they fail to achieve their goals because they don’t take the necessary action to receive what’s coming to them. Your thoughts bring things into your life, but it’s through your actions that you make them yours. 


The key here is to act now. You can’t change the past, and you can’t act in the future because it hasn’t arrived yet. The only time you can control is right now. Don’t sit around waiting for results; start acting today. There is no time like the present, and if you want to prepare yourself to receive what you want, you must start now.


Your actions should be focused on what’s right in front of you—your current job, your present environment, and the people around you. You can only take action where you are right now, not where you’ve been or where you’re going. Don’t dwell on whether your past actions were good or bad; just do your best with what you have right now.


Remember, your mental attitude is shaped by your perspective. When you seek a true and natural point of view, you’ll come up with better ideas that support your goals. It’s easy to get caught up in what we see with our eyes, but what we believe is often more important than what we see. Many of our failures come from not believing in what’s possible—our mental limitations are often more of a barrier than external circumstances.
